Most of the positions in the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre will require you to have or to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card and or Yellow Card. If you do not hold one, our team will discuss options with you for applying for one. Will I need to have an induction? Yes, all new volunteers and employees are required to participate in an induction. Our team will arrange this with you. What support will I have? You will also receive a program induction by the Program Coordinator of the service where you will be volunteering. Please feel free to contact us directly if you have any questions. Volunteer impact Our volunteers donated a total of 17,171 hours in one financial year This equates to over $400,000. The HBNC would like to thank each and everyone of our volunteers who give up their time and talent to make a difference in our community and in the lives of the clients we support.
