The Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre is excited to announce that we have been nominated for the Qld Training Awards 2020!

👉We have successfully upskilled 16 staff to Diploma level to improve Professionalism, Compliance and Knowledge.

👉Provided employment, mentoring and support to six Youth Trainees through Dignity First

👉Trained 37 participants in Individual Support Training - open to Migrants, People with a disability, Indigenous and Mature-aged people

👉Established quarterly Interagency meetings to offer professional training to service providers

👉Provide regular training and support to staff and volunteers, identifying gaps for further training

👉Also we had a nomination for a Trainee from The Wandering Teapot for his completion of Cert III in Retail and the outstanding promotion of the products online!!!
