HBNC is proud to announce that Farzina William, our dedicated Community Action for a Multicultural Society (CAMS) project officer, has been honoured with a Highly Commended Award at the prestigious Multicultural Queensland Awards, held in Brisbane on Friday, August 23rd.

The award was presented by Minister Charis Mullen, recognising Farzina's tireless efforts to support and empower people from multicultural communities across the Fraser Coast.

The Multicultural Queensland Awards celebrate the outstanding contributions of individuals, groups, and organisations who promote and support an inclusive, harmonious, and united Queensland.

Farzina’s recognition is a testament to her commitment to fostering a sense of belonging for people from all walks of life.

Cate Akaveka, HBNC’s Enterprise and Development Manager, expressed her pride in Farzina’s achievement.
