Her award-winning pieces showcase her passion for the arts, inspiring the Crafty Girl Gang to continue pushing the boundaries of their creativity. Upcoming Projects and Events The Crafty Girl Gang is currently working on an entry for the Waste to Art 2024 competition, transforming leftover paper plate paint palettes into a stunning mixed-media, 3D ocean-themed collage. The group will submit their piece on 26 September, and they’re excited to share their environmentally-conscious creation with the wider community. Looking ahead, the Gang will embrace the spirit of the Melbourne Cup at their 24 October workshop, where participants will craft their very own fascinators. These stylish creations are sure to be a hit for the spring racing season. Raising Awareness for Dystonia In addition to her artistic accomplishments, Susan is dedicated to raising awareness for Dystonia, a movement disorder that causes involuntary muscle contractions and affects daily life. September is Dystonia Awareness Month, and Susan hopes to shed light on this condition, which affects many individuals around the world.
