Calling all local businesses! Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of local youth while helping bring back a much-loved sporting event?

After a four-year hiatus, with the blessing of Gary Pearce and the Pearce family, the UNIQsol Col Pearce Corporate Triathlon will return on April 23rd this year.

HBNC is honoured to be the charity partner for this year’s event and, in partnership with the Hervey Bay Triathlon Club, we are looking for businesses to join major sponsor, UNIQsol, in supporting the event.

Two sponsorship packages are available. With a Silver sponsorship of $500, you will receive an A4 certificate of appreciation, your business logo on the event website and other promotions where possible. Your logo will also be displayed along the routes and at the finish line and you may provide other marketing materials to be given away on the day.

Gold sponsorship of $2500 includes everything covered in Silver, plus a free training session with the Tri-Club to prepare your team for the Triathlon.

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, message the Col Pearce Corporate Triathlon Facebook page.

What is the UNIQsol Col Pearce Corporate Triathlon?

Once upon a time, Tri Club members decided it was time to make triathlon not only accessible by all levels of fitness but to make it outrageously fun! Mix in the odd costume and a worthy charity and boom! Along came the Col Pearce Corporate Triathlon.

The event has raised more than $45,000 for cancer, having been close to its heart since losing its patron Col Pearce to cancer after competing in his first corporate triathlon.

This year, HBNC is thrilled to be the charity beneficiary for the event, with all proceeds going towards the Youth Mentoring Program.

“Having benefited various charities in the six years the event ran previously, helping the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre take on this event to fund critical Youth Mentoring initiatives is something the club is energised about,” Hervey Bay Triathlon club president Paul Smith said.
