Looking to enjoy a friendly conversation, meet new people, and feel more connected to your community?

You are warmly invited to Chat with Friends, a welcoming monthly morning tea at the Urangan Community Wellness Centre.

Sometimes all it takes is a simple conversation over a cuppa to brighten your day. Whether you're new to the area, looking to expand your social circle, or simply enjoy meeting friendly faces, Chat with Friends offers a relaxed and inclusive space where everyone is welcome.

Come along for a delicious morning tea, meaningful conversations, and the opportunity to connect with local residents, visitors, community groups, clubs, and support services. Our friendly Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre team will also share information about local activities, health and wellbeing services, community opportunities, and disaster preparedness resources available across the Fraser Coast.

Whether you arrive with friends or come on your own, you'll find a warm welcome and a comfortable place to connect.

We are delighted to be part of the Chatty Café Scheme, an initiative that encourages conversation and connection by helping people build social relationships and reduce feelings of loneliness and social isolation.

Time: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Where: Urangan Community Wellness Centre, corner of Elizabeth Street and Miller Street, Urangan

Cost: $5 per person (Includes tea, coffee and a delicious morning tea)

How to Save Your Seat

To assist with catering and ensure everyone enjoys a comfortable experience, bookings are encouraged. Cash payment can be made on the day.

Need to Change Your Plans?

If you're unable to attend, please let our friendly team know at least 48 hours before the event so we can arrange a refund. Please note that bookings cannot be transferred to future events.

Getting Here

Parking at the Centre is limited. We recommend allowing a little extra time to find a parking space on nearby Dayman or Miller Streets and enjoying a short walk to the Centre.
