Join us for an engaging introduction to Ayurveda, the world's oldest system of natural health and wellness. This practical workshop will explore how understanding your unique constitution, known as your dosha, can help you make informed choices about nutrition, lifestyle, and self-care during menopause and beyond.

In this session, you'll learn how to identify your individual dosha (constitution type), understand the nutritional needs associated with different constitutions, and discover how seasonal changes can impact your health and wellbeing. You'll also gain valuable insights into recognising signs of imbalance in the body and practical strategies to help restore balance naturally.

Whether you're currently experiencing menopause, preparing for this stage of life, or simply interested in taking a more proactive approach to your health, this workshop offers practical knowledge and tools that can be applied in everyday life.

Your Facilitator

Laura is an Ayurveda Health Consultant, Aromatherapist and Massage therapist. 
Her professional life includes a PhD in Linguistics, 20 years as a radio journalist for the multilingual Australian public radio (SBS) and 6 years as a university lecturer.
Her life's journey took her to research, study and practise Herbal medicine, Aromatherapy, and more recently Ayurveda as powerful allies for healing and spiritual growth.
As a musician, Laura has also been exploring vibration, frequency and sound and their healing properties, and through Ayurveda, she has also studied and experienced the healing power of breathing, humming and singing.

Neighbourhood Night Studio is a welcoming after-hours program where adults can explore creativity, learn new skills, and connect with others in a relaxed, beginner-friendly environment. Sessions are low-cost, wheelchair accessible, and focused on creativity, connection, and wellbeing. To support participation, free dinner and $5 supervised on-site children's activities are provided, making it easier for parents and carers to attend.
