What is the event?

The UNIQsol Col Pearce Corporate Triathlon is an annual charity sprint triathlon team event (short & fun- 300m swim, 10km bike, 3km run) held by the Hervey Bay Tri Club. Teams of 3 people dress up in fun costumes and complete one leg of the course. Teams nominate a time they predict they will finish the whole triathlon in. The winner is whoever finishes closest to their nominated time. This makes the event fun and not dependent on fitness levels meaning everyone can participate.

For 2023, the Hervey Bay Tri Club has partnered with the HBNC to deliver the event with funds raised going towards the Youth Mentoring Program. The YMP was previously funded through the annual Tour de Bay Charity Bike Ride run by HBNC. This replaces that event as the annual fundraiser.

As with all events, we rely on the kindness of wonderful volunteers to help us out on the day to ensure the event is an amazing one for all community.

If you are interested to volunteer, we have the below helpers needed on the day. Please let us know what you are available to help out with.
