We are excited to announce our upcoming Harmony Day event, celebrating diversity and promoting cultural awareness in the community.

The event is free for all to attend and will take place on Saturday, March 18th at the Hervey Bay Community Centre, 22 Charles St Pialba.

Harmony Day is an annual event celebrated throughout Australia, with the aim of promoting inclusiveness, respect, and a sense of belonging for all Australians regardless of cultural or linguistic background.

This year's event at HBNC will feature a variety of activities, including music, dancing, a fashion parade and a lot of fun.

Multicultural Food will be available to purchase.

Cate Akaveka, Enterprise and Development Manager at HBNC, spoke about the importance of celebrating multiculturalism in the community.

"We believe that celebrating diversity is essential to building strong, inclusive communities," she said.

"By hosting events like Harmony Day, we can promote understanding, respect and acceptance of all cultures, and create opportunities for people from different backgrounds to come together and learn from each other."

The HBNC Harmony Day event promises to be a fun and educational experience for all, and the whole community is invited to attend.
