Events & news News & media FAREWELL ROBYN: Long-serving team member retires A long-serving member of the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre, and the Fraser Coast community, is ready to retire. Robyn Edward announced it was time to make time to focus on the things she loved doing when she was a teenager but had struggled to find time for in the midst of a busy career. She is looking forward to spending time playing the piano, drawing and painting. Robyn, who most recently has worked as the centre's business development manager, has been instrumental to the success of such high profile events as Tour De Bay. She previously enjoyed a career in journalism and marketing, having worked at the Hervey Bay Independent among other publications. Robyn's skills and experience have been of great value to the organisation and CEO Tanya Stevenson said Robyn had been an inspiration.
