Centre Christmas closures and where to find help

The Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre, The Neighbourhood Hive, Reconnect Youth Centre and The Tree House: Urangan Community Wellness Centre will be closed over Christmas/New Year from 23 December 2022 to 3 January 2023.

As we close our doors and scale back for the Christmas break, we know many in the community still need support.

For all life-threatening and serious emergencies, please call 000.

We know hardship doesn't take a break for Christmas, so we have compiled a list of local service providers who may be able to offer support.

While we cannot guarantee the availability of these services, please use this document as a starting point and guide for getting the help you need.

Lunch With Friends - 8 August 2024

Lunch with friends is a new, monthly event designed to bring older people in Hervey Bay together over good, healthy and affordable food. It's held fortnightly on the 2nd and 4th Thursday and of the month at the Urangan Community Wellness Centre.
