As the world gears up to celebrate World Kindness Day on November 13th, the HBNC team is excited to invite the local community to join in a unique initiative to commemorate this global day of compassion and goodwill.

This year, in the spirit of spreading kindness, HBNC is hosting a Collage of Kindness Wall. Community members are encouraged to come together and contribute to this symbolic display by adding their unique piece of advice to the collage.

Then, they are invited to take a photo standing in as the “I” in kind, which can be shared on social media to signify the importance of unity and collective effort in spreading kindness.

“This World Kindness Day, we invite everyone to be part of taking the pledge to be kind,” Tanya Stevenson, CEO of HBNC said.

“Together, we can create a visual representation of our shared commitment to kindness.”

The Collage of Kindness is set up in the Atrium of the Hervey Bay Community Centre. Community members are invited to take part any time, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm.

The artwork will continue beyond World Kindness Day for the whole month of November.

“Just pop in when it’s convenient for you. Why not grab a coffee and some food from The Wandering Teapot Café while you’re here? All purchases support our social enterprise, providing job skilling opportunities for Hervey Bay locals,” Tanya said.

Join us in embracing the true essence of kindness by being a part of this heart-warming community initiative.
