Supporting and celebrating our multicultural community

Community Action for a Multicultural Society (CAMS) supports the multicultural community to have equitable access to services and programs that respond appropriately to their needs and to fully participate in and benefit from all aspects of life in Queensland. The program's mission is to support a sense of belonging in a cohesive and harmonious community.

This includes

  • Conversational English classes for migrants every Monday 9am-12pm.
  • CAMS Garden Club
  • Migrant book club
  • Birri Bula Dhaanban Group, meeting and activity once a month.

CAMS also organises the popular Culture Caf, showcasing a particular culture at each event, offering a taste of their cuisine, entertainment and information about their history.
