After a $1.5m refurbishment, the Urangan Community Wellness Centre is ready to open!

Everyone is invited to the official opening celebration and welcome to The Urangan Community Wellness Centre, also known as The Tree House on Friday 1st July 2022.

Come to the official celebrations at 9am, or drop in from 10am - 2pm to see our new centre, nestled in the relaxing and tranquil Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens.

HBNC CEO, Tanya Stevenson said this health and wellness hub is all about making Hervey Bay a happier, healthier place.

“In our holistic wellness hub, we are working closely with other health and social services to deliver services and host support groups, domestic violence retreats and other wellness programs,” she said.

The opening celebration is an opportunity to meet the services delivering health and wellness support to our local community.

The day will be full of guided tours and demonstrations, and you will be able to join in with activities including crochet, ukulele, and rock painting.

The celebration also begins our ‘100 days of wellness’. For 100 days, The Tree House will host activities that focus on your health, help you make connections, or allow you to relax, reflect and refresh. Check the event page for all of the upcoming events.
