By purchasing this gift, you will provide nutritious meals for people in need through the Comfort Kitchen program - serving over 100 meals each week.
The Comfort Kitchen program provides free hot and nutritious meals to help disadvantaged people in the Fraser Coast community. Presently the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre hosts three Comfort Kitchen meals, that offer a safe and friendly social gathering for locals needing a helping hand. Our meal programs are open to people in the community of all ages.
This program is self-funded and relies on the generous monetary and food donations from local individuals and business, it is also supported by many community volunteers who dedicate their time to cooking and serving the meals.
