The YETI (Youth Events Team Initiative) program kicked off its very first official event with a bang – Bay Alley, held at The Neighbourhood Hive on Saturday, August 31.

Designed to build connection and friendship among Fraser Coast young adults, the event drew a fantastic turnout, with over 40 young people coming together to connect, have fun, and make new friends.

The night was filled with energy, thanks to the incredible beats of DJ Ramage, who got everyone into the groove and showcased her talents behind the decks.

The vibe was electric as the crowd enjoyed the music, with many guests stepping out of their comfort zones to socialise and create new friendships.

One of the night's highlights was the impromptu karaoke session.

Over 10 guests showed off their confidence and got up to sing their hearts out, making it a fun and memorable experience for everyone involved.

YETI manager, Narelle Duroux, said the night hit all the right notes for Fraser Coast young people.

“We're absolutely stoked with how Bay Alley turned out,” said the YETI team.

“It's amazing to see so many young people come together, have a blast, and leave with new connections.”

A huge thank you goes out to the Bay Alley volunteers who worked tirelessly to make the event a success, and to everyone who came along – your energy and enthusiasm were what made Bay Alley such a great night.
