Crochet, Coffee and Conversation

Have you ever want to learn to crochet or want to work on a project of your own? 

Join us for crochet, a cuppa and conversation on Thursday mornings at the Urangan Community Wellness Centre. Join us for a fun session and either work on your own project or learn how to crochet with the basics. The art of crocheting has many benefits. Not only could you make something wonderful for your home, it's a great way to relax, showcase your skills and expand your creativity. 

In these sessions: 

  • Learn the basics of crochet
  • Work on your own crochet project with the support of the group
  • Have fun with new friends over a coffee
  • celebrate together with special High Tea days and Christmas in July

Where: Urangan Community Wellness Centre, corner of Miller and Elizabeth Streets, Urangan

When: Tuesday and Thursdays 9.30am to 11.30am - starting back Tuesday 13 February 2024

Cost: $5 per class (includes tea and coffee and crochet support). Please pay cash on arrival.

About your volunteer instructor:

Rosemari Vaca is an avid and passionate crafter with extensive knowledge in crocheting, knitting and cross stitch. She welcomes anyone interested in coming along whether you have experience or just a beginner.

Q – Is this event COVID Safe?

A - Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre adheres to strict COVID safe practices. We ask that all attendees practice social distancing. Numbers will be capped for this event in line with COVID policies.

Q – What is included in the price?

A – Tuition and tea/coffee.

Q – What if I can’t attend or need to cancel?

A – If you cannot attend please let the Learning Hub Know by calling 4194 3000 or resubmitting the booking form with your notice to cancel.
