Welcome to the world of the mighty micro bat! Its job in the environment is to feast on insects, and it can eat its own weight in insects each night.

In this workshop, learn all about the importance of managing micro bats in the environment, and how you can have a micro bat box or tube in your backyard.  

Where: Hervey Bay Community Centre, 22 Charles Street, Pialba

When: Thursday 28th October, 10.00am - 11.00am

Cost: $5 per person (includes tea and coffee)

This event is part of the HBNC’s Local Learning Network, a series of courses and workshops aimed at introducing Fraser Coast residents to new ideas, skills and friends.

About your volunteer instructor:

John Parsons has delivered education sessions for over 15 years to schools and environmental groups about micro bats and mega bats.

A – Bring a pen and paper to take notes, and come ready to learn about micro bats and meet some like-minded people.
