Join fellow bookworms at the Urangan Community Wellness Centre in the Botanic Gardens on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.

Share your views about books you have read, loved or hated and why. Inform your fellow avid readers of the title and author, if it’s a series or standalone, availability as paperback or e-book, so others can follow your recommendations if they wish.

Enjoy some like-minded conversation and learn about new authors and genres.

Where: The Urangan Community Wellness Centre, Elizabeth St, Urangan (opposite Miller St)

When:  Third Tuesday of the Month, 19 Sept, 17 Oct, 21 Nov, 19 Dec 2023, 16 Jan, 20 Feb, 19 Mar 2024. 1pm to 2pm

WISE, funded by the Queensland Government, is designed to provide essential support, training and connection opportunities for women over 55 who may be experiencing social isolation and loneliness.

WISE will focus on social connection while learning life skills, arts, music, culture, employment skills and guest speakers for women 55+.
