Join us over a FREE morning tea and discover new skills, ideas and connections that will help you find a job, boost your career or find your purpose. All ages welcome.

The LIFT Employment Lounge is a no-pressure event, where you will meet new friends and have your questions answered about searching for work, how to access low and no cost training, or connect with potential new employers. Come to one event or come every week. You are most welcome and we look forward to sharing morning tea, a cuppa and getting to know you.

There will be a different topic or speaker each week.

Where: Location, The Neighbourhood Hive, 184 Boat Harbour Drive, Pialba. 

When: Wednesdays 10am to 12pm, 

Cost: FREE. Morning tea is included. *This event is supported by the Australian Government Department of Social Services.

Q - Who is the LIFT Employment Lounge aimed at?

A - Anyone searching for work, wanting to change careers, upskill, find flexibility, meet employers and trainers, or meet new connections. All ages welcome.

Q - Why is this event free?

A - The LIFT Employment Lounge is part of HBNC's Local Industry Future Program (LIFT) program which is funded by the Australian Government and aimed at addressing barriers to employment, and the Local Learning Network (LLN), a series of courses and workshops aimed at introducing Fraser Coast residents to new ideas, skills and friends.

Q – Is this event COVID-Safe?

A - Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre adheres to strict COVID-safe practices. We ask that all attendees practice social distancing.
