At its heart, LIFT is a job-readiness training program, but it’s so much more than that. It’s a chance for Hervey Bay residents to find their purpose and take meaningful steps towards the job or career of their dreams. Through a network of events, training and coaching opportunities, LIFT aims to break the cycle of long-term unemployment in our community.

This will be achieved through:

• Youth Assistance Program (YAP) for 16 to 18-year-olds
• Industry Ready Training for 18 to 35-year-olds, 10 week program
• Local Learning Network – workshops aimed at teaching new skills and encouraging community engagement
• Training and employment coach - assisting employees to thrive in their new roles
