The Christmas spirit was well and truly alive last year, with more than $7000 raised through the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre’s Christmas Gift Catalogue 2021.

Thanks to the generosity of so many community members, a range of self-funded HBNC programs have received a welcome financial boost for 2022.

HBNC CEO, Tanya Stevenson, extended her thanks to the people who purchased gifts through the catalogue.

“HBNC could not do the work it does for the community’s most vulnerable without this kind of support,” Tanya said.

“On behalf of the entire HBNC team of staff and volunteers, as well as our clients, thank you for your generosity.”

Last year’s Christmas Catalogue raised funds for the following HBNC programs:

• Comfort Kitchen
• Bless Box
• Equine Facilitated Learning
• English classes (CAMS)
• Youth Mentoring
• Urangan Community Wellness Centre
• The Wandering Teapot social enterprise
• Read Bears
