What is BOLD?

BOLD stands for Bays Over 50 Living Dangerously.  It’s a great opportunity to pursue your interests and enjoy new experiences as BOLD will introduce you to a variety of adventurous fun filled activities while meeting new people.  Open to men and women over 50 years of age, it is an idea way to explore the local region, whether you are new to Hervey Bay or have lived here all  your life.

Meet each Tuesday at 9.30am at the Urangan Community Centre for activities including outings, walking & coffee group and social lunches.

How do I get involved? 

• You must be active and willing to socialize and have fun at the same time
• Just turn up and enjoy yourselves (apart from activities that require bookings)
• Non-compulsory membership fee of $5.00 due in February every year; this will entitle you to members' discounts on any activities or workshops that occur
• A newsletter is emailed or posted out quarterly to members
