Migrant Settlement Program

The Migrant Settlement Program Wide Bay assists migrants to settle in the Wide Bay/Burnett region.  This program provides free, confidential information, assistance & support to migrants on issues relating to their settlement process.

This assistance covers a wide range of areas including:

• Immigration & citizenship information
• Employment,  education and training
  
• Overseas qualifications
• Accommodation
• Volunteer Interpreter assistance (VIA)
• Multicultural Kit
• Skilled migrant family support
• Domestic violence
• Legal and police issues
• General settlement information, advocacy, support and referral
  

Interpreters are available free of charge to clients requiring access to this service.
